JAKARTA - On Thursday, October 31, foreign buying volume climbed to 3.90 billion shares. Meanwhile, foreign sales volume was only 3.69 billion shares, resulting in a net foreign volume surplus of 205.16 million. The coal mining company PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) had the greatest share acquisition, with 200.64 million shares bought and a net volume of 166.77 million shares.

Furthermore, 75.36 million shares of PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL), a domestic and overseas shipping services company, were purchased, for a net volume of 57.78 million shares. Shares of multimedia business PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA) and augmented reality (AR) technology company PT WIR ASIA Tbk (WIRG) each had a net volume in the range of 50 million shares after foreign investors purchased 64.32 million SCMA shares and 60.19 million WIRG shares. In addition, shares of PT Central Omega Resources Tbk (DKFT), which specializes in mining and mining product trade, were purchased for 61.59 million shares, with a net volume of 48.14 million shares.

On the other side, 268.22 million shares of mineral mining business PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) were sold, for a net volume of -155.56 million shares. The next shares sold belonged to the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), namely 1.24 million shares with a net volume of -65.39 million shares. Aside from that, shares of e-commerce company PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) were sold for 109.46 million shares, with a net volume of -34.29 million shares. In the telecoms sector, PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN) shares were sold for 31.63 million shares without any share acquisitions, resulting in a net volume of -31.63 million shares. Finally, shares of gold mining business PT J Resources Asia Pasifik Tbk (PSAB) were sold for 55.58 million shares, for a net volume of -31.19 million shares. (KD)
