JAKARTA - PT Trimegah Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk's acquisition of 424.80 million shares of PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk (ENRG) prompted market hints on Wednesday, October 30. By this deal, the investor was able to raise its ownership stake in the company that was exploring for and trading oil and gas from 14.41% to 16.12%.

Additionally, foreign investor DBS Bank Ltd S/A PT Bank KEB Hana Indonesia acquired 2.6 million shares of property developer PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk (LPKR), and PT Startel Communication then acquired half a million shares of PT Jaya Trishindo Tbk (HELI). HELI itself is a business that rents out helicopters. Yulisar Khiat, an individual investor, then purchased 1.6 million shares of PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk (HEAL), the company that operates Hermina Hospital, followed by Surono Subekti, who purchased 286,500 shares of PT Cardig Aero Services Tbk (CASS), a holding company that provides airport services.

In the meantime, PT Aladin Global Ventures sold nearly twelve million shares of PT Bank Aladin Syariah Tbk (BANK), a digitally based sharia bank, and PT Samuel Tumbuh Bersama released 40.44 million shares of palm oil producer PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS).

PT Triputra Agro Persada Tbk (TAPG), a palm oil and rubber company, then noted that two of its foreign investors, Gochean Holdings Incorporated and Salween Investment Pte Ltd, had sold its shares. Each investor sold 3.8 million shares of TAPG, resulting in a final ownership percentage of 5.37% for Gochean Holdings and 7.35% for Salween Investment. Finally, Fidelity Funds released 403,600 shares of PT Fast Food Indonesia Tbk (FAST), the sole KFC franchisee in Indonesia. (KD)
