Gov’t to offer 7 state sukuk series, eyeing IDR 9 trillion
JAKARTA. The Indonesian government will once again hold an auction of 7 series of Government Securities (lit. Surat Berharga Syariah Negara/SBSN) or State Sukuk next Tuesday (5/11) with an indicative target of IDR 9 trillion.
There were 7 series of SUN offered in the auction, consisting of 2 series of Government Treasury Notes (lit. Surat Perbendaharaan Negara/SPN) and 5 FR series of Government Bonds (lit. Obligasi Negara/ON).
The yields attached to these SPN series are discounts, while yields set for ON series range from 4.87% to 6.87% per annum.
All parties may submit their bids in the auction. But in its implementation, the offer must be made through primary dealers authorised by the Ministry of Finance.
According to IDNFinancials data, the Indonesian government has conducted 21 state sukuk auctions since the beginning of 2024. The accumulated awarded amount received by the government from these state sukuk auctions has reached IDR 187.62 trillion. (KR/ZH)
