JAKARTA – The State Ministry of State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) has appointed Simon Aloysius Mantiri as President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero), replacing Nicke Widyawati. Prior to this, Mantiri used to be the President Commissioner of Pertamina.

Vice President Corporate Communication of Pertamina then mentioned that the appointment and termination of President Director and the Board of Commissioners of Pertamina is stated in SK-258/MBU/11/2024 dan SK-259/MBU/11/2024.

“The company’s leadership transition undergoes a normal and fair process, as stated by the existing regulation,” they added in the press release, quoted Monday (4/11).

In the decision letter, State Ministry of SOE also appoints Mochammad Iriawan as President Commissioner of Pertamina, Dony Oskaria as Vice President Commissioner of Pertamina, and Raden Adjeng Sondaryani as Independent Commissioner of Pertamina.

Mochammad Iriawan is known to have appointed Corporate Secretary of National Resilience Institute (Lemhanas). After his duty in Indonesian National Police, Iriawan was listed as the Advisory Board of National Campaign Team of Prabowo Subianto in General Election 2024.

Then, Oskaria also takes office as Vice State Minister of SOE in Merah Putih Cabinet, whereas Raden Adjeng Sondaryani is known as the Head of Oil and Gas Alumni Association of Universitas Trisakti. (LK/ZH)
