JAKARTA. PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA), a company managing several television channels in Indonesia, namely SCTV and Indosiar, will distribute interim dividend of IDR 5 per share, or a total of IDR 316.85 billion.

Gilang Iskandar, Corporate Secretary of SCMA, mentioned that the plan is in line with the decision of the board of directors made a couple of days ago. “It had been approved by the board of commissioners on November 4, 2024,” added him in the official statement.

The interim dividend will be given to SCMA’s shareholders whose names have been officially listed by the recording date on November 18, 2024. The payment will then be made on December 6, 2024.

According to IDNFinancials data, SCMA booked net profit of IDR 509.35 billion within the first nine months (9M) of 2024. As of September 30, 2024, the company also recorded retained earnings of IDR 7.08 trillion, and total equity worth IDR 8.58 trillion.

In the first stock market session, SCMA reportedly shifted 2 points up, or 1.57% higher to IDR 129 per share. However, since the beginning of this year, its price has dropped 24 points or 15.69%. (KR/ZH)
