XL Axiata’s net profit soared 31.7%, now reaching IDR 1.32 trillion
JAKARTA. PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL), one of the biggest telecommunication service providers in Indonesia, posted net profit of IDR 1.32 trillion within the first nine months (9M) of 2024.
The profit increased 31.7% year-on-year (yoy) compared to EXCL’s net profit in 9M 2023, which arrived at only IDR 999.99 billion.
According to the financial report, EXCL’s net profit growth is in line with its 9M 2024 revenue, which was recorded at IDR 25.36 trillion, or increasing 6.24% yoy.
Most of EXCL’s revenue in 9M 2024 was still dominated by GSM mobile and telecommunication network services, contributing IDR 24.8 trillion. Then, the remaining portion was generated by managed services and information technology services.
Until September 30, 2024, EXCL recorded total assets of IDR 85.17 trillion, with cash and cash equivalent of IDR 1.83 trillion. Its equity then arrived at IDR 25.7 trillion. (KR/ZH)
