Foreign buy falls, net foreign volume closed at -215.52 million shares
JAKARTA - Foreign share purchases on Friday, November 8, fell from the previous day, totaling 3.16 billion shares. With a slight difference, the foreign sales volume was 3.38 billion shares. As a result, net foreign volume closed at -215.52 million shares. Foreign investors then began buying 1.31 billion shares of the digital corporation PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), for a net volume of 495.60 million shares.
In second place, 335.06 million shares of PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS), a mineral mining company, were purchased, for a net volume of 110.57 million shares. In the hotel and resort development industry, about 124.15 million PT MNC Land Tbk (KPIG) shares were purchased, with a net volume of 17.73 million shares. The acquisition of 30.41 million shares of gold mining company PT J Resources Asia Pasifik Tbk (PSAB) and 21.45 million shares of PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS) resulted in a net volume in the range of 16 million shares apiece.
The top-selling list was then dominated by sales of banking sector shares, namely PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI), PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI), and PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA). Foreign investors sold 159.09 million BMRI shares with a net volume of -86.07 million shares, 137.75 million BBRI shares with a net volume of -85.36 million shares, and 80.62 million BBCA shares with a net volume of -64.15 million shares. Furthermore, shares of the electronic product retail company PT Multipolar Tbk (MLPL) were sold for 100.37 million shares, with a net volume of -67.80 million shares. Finally, shares in PT WIR ASIA Tbk (WIRG), an augmented reality (AR) technology business, were sold for 55.95 million shares, with a net volume of -53.69 million shares. (KD)
