BANDUNG – Subakti Syukur, President Director of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR), has been awarded The Best CEO at the Top CEO Awards event held on Friday, November 15, 2024, in Bandung.

In this awarding event, Syukur received a special mention for Initiating Operations of 3 Green Toll Roads, recognising his success in launching three toll roads certified as Green Toll Roads, adhering to environmentally-friendly concepts.

As of now, the three toll roads owned by JSMR that have received Green Toll Road certification are the Pandaan-Malang Toll Road, the Gempol-Pandaan Toll Road, and the Ngurah Rai-Nusa Dua-Benoa Toll Road.

The certification is awarded by Green Infrastructure and Facilities Indonesia (GIFI), a subsidiary of the Green Product Council Indonesia (GPCI). Criteria assessed include accessibility, service, energy efficiency, water efficiency, environmental impact, materials, construction, and regional cooperation.

JSMR has also incorporated the Green Toll Road concept into its business sustainability roadmap through 2027. This program includes plans for greening the toll roads and rest areas, promoting tourism, art activities, and the promotion of local culture.

The Green Toll Road certification is accompanied by robust business growth. JSMR posted a net profit of IDR 6.79 trillion in 2023, with a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 57.26% over the past two years.

Currently, JSMR is a constituent of the Indeks52 in the Main Index, High Growth, and Big Cap categories, reflecting the company’s significant market capitalization and rapid business growth in recent years. (KR)
