BANDUNG – Tempo and IDN Financials have named Andrianto Oetomo, President Director of PT Dharma Satya Nugraha Tbk (DSNG), The Best CEO at the Top CEO Indonesia Awards 2024 in Bandung, Friday (15/11). He was awarded the title with a special mention for Utilizing Bio-CNG as an Alternative Energy Source to Diesel Fuel.

Under his leadership, DSNG has optimized the use of Bio-CNG as an alternative energy source to replace diesel fuel. In 2023, the company tested Bio-CNG on 21 trucks, leading to a reduction of 184.09 tons of CO2 emissions. The Bio-CNG initiative also helped cut down diesel fuel consumption for electricity generation by 1.99 million liters, resulting in savings of Rp30.94 billion.

As of last year, DSNG has operated two Bio-CNG plants in Muara Wahau, East Kutai, with a total CNG production capacity of 850 m³/hr. The plants produced 7.15 million kWh of electricity, which is used for operational needs, offices, and employee housing.

 On the financial side, DSNG continues to show growth despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2023, DSNG recorded sales of Rp9.49 trillion and a net profit of Rp839.80 billion. The company's EBITDA stood at Rp2.42 trillion, slightly down from Rp3.01 trillion in 2022 but still showing growth compared to the pandemic period when EBITDA was around Rp1.65 trillion.

At the Top CEO Indonesia Awards 2024, Tempo and IDN Financials selected 51 of the best CEOs from a pool of over 930 listed companies. This number is an increase from last year’s 43 CEOs. The selected CEOs represent various sectors including banking, palm oil, coal and mineral mining, telecommunications infrastructure, toll roads, processed food, housing developers, and power generation.
