Morning session caught JCI climbing
JAKARTA – At Tuesday’s (19/11) morning session, Jakarta Stock Price Composite Index (JCI) demonstrated an optimistic trend. The index opened at 7,147.26 points at 9 AM WIB and climbed to 7,206.84 by 10:50 AM WIB.
As of just before 11:00 AM, the index was moving consistently upwards, maintaining strides since the market opened. This morning’s movement pattern resembles last week’s trend (12/11), which also saw upward momentum.
The positive movement of the IHSG this morning was reflected in other indices, which also showed gains. LQ45 was up 0.98% to 876.257, IDX30 climbed 1.04% to 448.102, IDX80 advanced 1.24% to 127.055, and IDXESGL rose 1.45% to 154.331.
Several large-cap stocks contributed to the morning’s gains, including PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT), PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk (AMMN), PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN), PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM), PT Trimegah Bangun Persada Tbk (ITMG), and PT Mayora Indah Tbk (MYOR).
On the other hand, some large-cap stocks were in decline, such as PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA), PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI), PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI), and PT Mulia Boga Raya Tbk (KEJU). (LK/ZH)
