Entering green zone, net foreign volume surplus at 571.83 million shares
JAKARTA - On Monday, November 18, net foreign volume entered the green zone, closing at 571.83 million shares. This was because the foreign buy volume was 4.53 billion shares, while the foreign sell volume was just 3.95 billion shares. The most shares purchased belonged to the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), which were bought up to 2.34 billion shares with a net volume of 550.58 million shares.
Furthermore, 448.44 million shares of coal mining business PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) were purchased, for a net volume of 230.61 million shares. Shares of the energy resources infrastructure company PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) were then purchased for 52.30 million shares, for a net volume of 41.96 million shares. The net volume of shares of palm oil producer PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS) and mineral mining company PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) were both in the range of 24 million shares after foreign investors bought 27.99 million NSSS shares and 345.62 million BRMS shares.
Meanwhile, shares of general mining contractor services business PT Darma Henwa Tbk (DEWA) were sold for 222.48 million shares, with a net volume of -163.89 million shares. In the banking sector, foreign investors sold 192.29 million shares of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) with a net volume of -110.77 million shares and 30 million shares of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) with a net volume of -29.20 million shares. Shares of PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk (ADRO), which operates in the coal mining industry, were then sold for 89.64 million shares, with a net volume of -70.98 million shares. Finally, PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM) shares in the telecommunications sector were sold for 68.81 million shares, resulting in a net volume of -39.24 million shares. (KD)
