JAKARTA. PT Tripar Multivision Plus Tbk (RAAM), also known as MVP, opened Platinum Cineplex theatre in Sragen, Central Java, on November 14, 2024.

Said theatre is located at Plaza Atrium, Sragen. The opening ceremony was attended by several local government officials, as well as Amit Jethani, Director of PT Platinum Sinema, RAAM’s subsidiary that managed Platinum Cineplex.

“Choosing Sragen as the area selected for Platinum Cineplex branch opening is in line with the vision and mission of Platinum Cineplex to provide world-class theatre experience to the people in tier-2 and tier-3 cities in Indonesia, particularly those untapped by other cinema business players in Indonesia,” added Jethani.

As of now, RAAM has managed Platinum Cineplex theatre network across various cities, starting from Solo, Magelang, Sidoarjo, Baturaja, Palopo, Lahat, Kolaka, Majenang, Kebumen, Cimanggis, Batang, Pangkalan Bun, and Sragen.

RAAM decided to open theatre network in tier-2 and tier-3 cities after considering its quite promising prospects in terms of the masses, yet inadequate in the number of theatres. (KR/ZH)
