WTON’s new contract still 81% of 2024 target
JAKARTA. PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk (WTON), a precast concrete owned by PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA), booked new contracts of IDR 4.99 trillion until October 2024.
It is equal to 81% of 2024 new contract target, which is reportedly set to IDR 5.93 trillion by WTON.
Infrastructure projects primarily supported WTON’s new contracts as of October 2024, covering 71.55% of total new contracts. Then, contribution from industrial sector reached 13.87%, and electricity 7.12%
“The remaining came from property sector of 6.71%, energy of 0.49%, and mine of 0.26%,” said Yushadi, Corporate Secretary of WTON.
Meanwhile, based on user category, 79.26% of WTON’s new contracts until October 2024 were commissioned by private sector users, followed by SOEs of 17.97%, WTON’s affiliates of 1.18%, parent entity of 1.17%, and government of 0.42%.
According to IDNFinancials data, WTON booked operating revenue of IDR 3.39 trillion until September 2024, up 13.64% year-on-year (yoy) from IDR 2.98 trillion seen in the same period last year. (KR/ZH)
