Summarecon Agung's profit shot up 42.9%, optimistic in achieving marketing sales targets
JAKARTA. PT Summarecon Agung Tbk (SMRA), a real estate management and developer issuer, has posted a net profit of IDR 933.71 billion in the first nine months (9M) of 2024.
This gain increased 42.9% year-on-year (yoy) or compared to the company's net profit in 9M 2023, which only reached IDR 653 billion. This increase is in line with the company's net income performance which reached IDR 7.54 trillion, up 45.9% yoy or from IDR 5.06 trillion in 9M 2023.
Meanwhile, SMRA's marketing sales performance as of September 30, 2024 has reached IDR 2.7 trillion. This gain is equivalent to 54% of this year's marketing sales target which was set at IDR 5 trillion.
SMRA management admits that marketing sales performance in 9M 2024 is still far below the target. To achieve this target, the company will be more aggressive in boosting marketing sales in the fourth quarter of this year.
Currently, there are several properties that are being prepared by SMRA, for sale at the end of this year. One of them is Vanica Residence which is located in the Summarecon Crown Gading area. The number of Vanica Residence residences ready for sale at the end of this year is 38 units in the first phase.
Previously, in mid-November, SMRA also obtained additional marketing sales of IDR 225 billion from the sale of Cluster Louise Summarecon Serpong units. The number of units sold for Cluster Louise was recorded at 48 units. (KR/LM)
