JAKARTA. PT Solusi Sinergi Digital Tbk (WIFI), a digital advertising and network infrastructure, has injected extra capital to one of its subsidiaries, PT Dharma Sinar Semesta (DSS), in order to promote business development.

Yune Marketatmo, President Director of WIFI, confirmed that the extra capital given to DSS clocks up to IDR 53.44 billion. This brings total issued and paid-up capital of DSS to significantly rise to IDR 55 billion from IDR 1.56 billion.

“This capital increase will reinforce DSS’s business in fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) segment,” added Marketatmo, quoted today (25/11).

The management of WIFI claims to be optimistic that this extra capital will enable and advance the expansion of its business in FTTH segment.

According to IDNFinancials data, WIFI booked net profit of IDR 152.07 billion within the first nine months (9M) of 2024. This number is 3.4 times higher compared to the profit posted in the same period last year, which only arrived at IDR 34.6 billion.

Telecommunication business line remained as the primary contributor of WIFI’s revenue in 9M 2024, generating IDR 253.08 billion, followed by web portal and digital platform of IDR 251.87 billion. (KR/ZH)
