Foreign buy volume hit 5.70 billion shares, net foreign volume surplus at 414.50 million shares
JAKARTA - Foreign buy volume on Friday, November 22, totaled 5.70 billion shares. One of the largest contributors to the high number of foreign buy volume was the acquisition of shares in the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), which totaled 4.15 billion shares with a net volume of 404.65 million shares. Meanwhile, foreign sell volume was 5.28 billion shares, resulting in a net foreign volume surplus of 414.50 million shares.
The share purchase transaction was then extended to the domestic and global shipping services firm PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL), totaling 84.47 million shares with a net volume of 61.04 million shares. Then, 77.46 million shares of the general mining contractor services business PT Darma Henwa Tbk (DEWA) were purchased, for a net volume of 44.47 million shares. In the renewable energy sector, 32.87 million shares of PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) were purchased for a net volume of 32.16 million shares. Furthermore, 167.20 million shares of the banking company PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) were purchased, for a net volume of 29.51 million shares.
On the top sell list, foreign investors sold 91.48 million shares of PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) in the mineral mining sector, for a net volume of -29.41 million shares. Aside from that, shares of petrochemical and energy company PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) were sold for 58.40 million shares, with a net volume of -25.40 million shares, followed by the sale of 36.70 million shares of paint manufacturer PT Avia Avian Tbk (AVIA), with a net volume of -25.03 million shares. Shares of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) in the banking sector were then sold for 47.88 million shares, with a net volume of -21.65 million shares. Finally, shares of media company PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA) were sold for 22.32 million shares, for a net volume of -17.61 million shares. (KD)
