MREI to restructure the board, two commissioners resign
JAKARTA – Two members of the Board of Commissioners of PT Maskapai Reasuransi Indonesia Tbk (MREI) submitted their resignations yesterday (28/11). The resignation is supposedly related to internal rotation plan within the company.
In the information disclosure quoted Friday (29/11), Fanra Budiman Arief, Director of MREI, confirmed that the company has received resignation letters from Robby Loho, its President Commissioner; Sarkoro Handajani, Independent Commissioner; and Aloysia Dwi Ana Nurhandajani, Director of Finance.
“The resignation will be effective after passing the fit and proper test from Financial Services Authority regarding their new positions in MREI.
Robby Loho is a seasoned figure in the insurance industry, having been worked in positions in PT Asuransi Wahana Tata, PT Asuransi Sinar Mas, PT Asuransi Central Asia, and PT Asuransi Umum Mega.
Meanwhile, Sarkoro Handajani was once listed as the executives of PT Inti Dufree Promosindo Tbk and PT Satwika Permai Indah. Lastly, Aloysia Dwi Ana Nurhandajani has been building career in MREI since 2004.
On the other hand, MREI has positively shifted since the opening bell. Nearing 12 PM WIB, it arrived at IDR 985 per share, up IDR 10 from IDR 975 per share at 9 AM WIB. (LK/ZH)
