Together with Jaringan Prima, BNI held the BNI Wonderful Movie Day 2024 event on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at XXI Senayan City, Jakarta, as a form of appreciation for loyal BNI merchants.

BNI Wonderful Movie Day 2024 was attended by the Director of Digital and Integrated Transaction Banking, Hussein Paolo Kartadjoemena, and SEVP Retail Digital Solution Rian Eriana Kaslan, along with more than 630 participants, from cashiers to directors, who came from various business sectors, such as groceries, F&B, hospitals, hotels, beauty clinics, and other retail industries.

This event is an annual agenda as an appreciation for the increase in transactions from all merchants who have loyally collaborated with BNI. Through this event, BNI management has the opportunity to meet directly with management and merchant representatives.

"This event aims to strengthen the relationship between BNI and merchants, and encourage merchants to make BNI their main choice in making transactions," said Paolo.

Until October 2024, BNI recorded a nominal growth in merchant transactions of 27%, as well as a very significant growth in nominal QRIS transactions, namely 208% compared to the previous year.

This momentum is also used by BNI to encourage the adoption of QRIS-based digital payments in various business sectors. On July 5, 2024, BNI launched Wondr by BNI, an innovation that provides convenience in QRIS transactions that are more practical and simple, and is supported by various attractive promos at BNI merchants.

BNI continues to innovate with various solutions, including Android EDC, new principal acceptance of American Express and UnionPay, easy transactions with BNI ECR, Sameday Settlement QRIS BNI 3 times a day, BNI Merchant App, and contactless transactions for all card principals.

In line with Bank Indonesia's steps in accelerating digital transformation in the payment sector, BNI will soon launch QRIS Tap, an innovation that will make it easier for business actors and consumers to make digital transactions more practically and safely.
