JAKARTA. Jakarta Stock Price Composite Index (IHSG) showed 1.45% increase or 102.18 points higher to 7,149.17 at today’s (3/12) morning session, supported by price surges in nearly all sectors.

JCI reportedly peaked at 7,161.83, and hit the lowest at 7,102.21.

Out of all active stocks, 331 indicated positive trend. Another 228 registered decline, and 220 stocks were stagnant.

The transaction value reached IDR 5.26 trillion at this first session today (3/12). The volume reportedly clocked up to 9.83 billion shares, circulating in 659,047 transactions.

Today’s positive shift in IHSG was brought upon by issuers of nearly all sectors—particularly technology sector, contributing 2.58% growth. PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) still reigned over top gainers’ list with 5.71% price jump.

On the contrary, only 2 out of 11 sectors that brought the index down this morning, namely healthcare and transportation. (KR/ZH)
