Domestic investors dominated 92% of transaction value
JAKARTA – Domestic investors accounted for 92% of the total transaction value on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on Monday (9/12).
The total purchase transactions made by domestic investors amounted to IDR 41.12 trillion. With total sales transactions reaching IDR 41.42 trillion, domestic investors recorded a net sell of IDR 296 billion.
On the other hand, foreign investors registered a total foreign buy of IDR 3.81 trillion and a foreign sell of IDR 3.51 trillion, resulting in a net foreign sell of IDR 296.35 billion.
In comparison, the transaction composition between domestic and foreign investors during the previous trading week (2-6/12) was relatively balanced, with domestic investors accounting for 58% and foreign investors 42% of the total transaction value.
Throughout the past week, domestic investors recorded a net sell of IDR 1.07 trillion, while foreign investors posted an equivalent net buy of IDR 1.07 trillion. (KR/ZH)
