Manoj Dhamoo Punjabi’s stake in FILM drops by 4.9%
JAKARTA – Manoj Dhamoo Punjabi's ownership in PT MD Entertainment Tbk (FILM) decreased by 4.9% following a share sale transaction last week (3/12). As of this morning, FILM’s stock price has risen by 4.91% to IDR 3,630 from IDR 3,460 per share, the price recorded during the transaction last week.
According to data compiled by IDN Financials on Tuesday (10/12), a total of 484.99 million shares were sold, reducing Punjabi's stake to 1.17 billion shares or 11.92% of the company's issued and fully paid capital, down from 1.66 billion shares or 16.82%. With a sale price of IDR 2,600 per share, the total transaction value reached IDR 1.26 trillion.
Fadel Ramadhia, Corporate Secretary of FILM, explained that the share sale was intended to provide strategic investors an opportunity to become shareholders in line with the company's business development plans.
As of November 2024, FILM's total outstanding shares amounted to 9.87 billion, with 65.35% controlled by the majority shareholder and 3.43 billion shares held by non-controlling shareholders. The company has 8,233 shareholders, and its free float stands at 16.49%. (LK/ZH)
