Several sectors entered red zone, JCI corrected by 0.74% in first session
JAKARTA. The Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) in the first trading session today moved down 0.74% or 55.24 points to 7,409.51, from the opening position of 7,464.75.
According to data compiled by idnfinancials.com, the decline in the JCI in the first trading session today was followed by the performance of sectoral indices entering the red zone. It was recorded that 9 sectoral indices experienced a decline.
The Basic-Ind sector showed a correction of 0.2%, Finance 0.89%, Health 0.66%, Industry 0.47%, Infrastructure 0.78%, Non-Cyclical 0.64%, Property 0.52%, Technology 0.99%, and Transportation 0.43%.
Meanwhile, there were only 2 sectoral indices that showed strength in today's first trading session. Both were Energy sector indexes which rose 0.41% and Cyclical 0.21%.
Shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) are in the top position on the Top Volume list, with a traded volume of 1.67 billion shares in the first session. Then shares of PT Era Digital Media Tbk (AWAN) are in the top position of Top Frequency, with a total trading frequency of 82.2 thousand times, and shares of PT Trust Finance Indonesia Tbk (TRUS) are in the top position of Top Gainers with a share price increase of 25%.
