Tancorp Group boss gifts shares to granddaughter, from AVIA to CLEO
JAKARTA – Hermanto Tanoko, owner of Tancorp Group, marked his first granddaughter Holly Natasha's 17th birthday with a unique gift—a selection of shares from companies he controls that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
Hermanto shared the news in a recent Instagram post, featuring a photo and a caption saying, "My wife and I gave a birthday gift of eight stocks to Holly, now 17 years old, who has received her ID card and opened a securities account."
The eight stocks gifted include shares in PT Sariguna Primatirta Tbk (CLEO), PT Avia Avian Tbk (AVIA), PT Jaya Sukses Makmur Sentosa Tbk (RISE), PT Caturkarda Depo Bangunan Tbk (DEPO), PT Mega Perintis Tbk (ZONE), PT Cahayaputra Asa Keramik Tbk (CAKK), PT Superior Prima Sukses Tbk (BLES), and PT Penta Valent Tbk (PEVE).
Specifically, Hermanto gifted 500,000 shares of CLEO to his granddaughter. With CLEO’s closing price at IDR 1,325 per share, the gift's value is approximately IDR 662.5 million. The quantities of shares for the other companies were not disclosed.
According to data from IDN Financials, Hermanto is the controlling shareholder of these listed companies. The Surabaya-based billionaire has a diverse portfolio spanning industries such as building materials, real estate, fashion, and bottled drinking water.
This year, Forbes reported Hermanto's net worth at USD 2.1 billion, or around IDR 33.5 trillion, placing him 1,545th on the global billionaire rankings. (KR/ZH)
