JAKARTA - PT Trimegah Bangun Persada Tbk (NCKL) bought 10% of Li Yuen Pte Ltd's shares in PT Obi Nickel Cobalt (ONC) in a transaction that took place Friday (13/12). The increase in the portion of the issuer's shares in ONC is to increase value creation in line with shareholder interests.

Quoted in the information disclosure, the number of Li Yuen shares purchased by NCKL was 628,240 shares or 10% of all ONC shares at a price of IDR 3.37 million per share. If calculated, the total transaction value is IDR 2.11 trillion or US$ 140.09 million.

NCKL shares were recorded at 63.09 billion with the composition of share ownership, namely, PT Harita Jayaraya 84.68%, PT Citra Duta Jaya Makmur 0.87%, and the public 4.5%. Meanwhile, Li Yuen is an investment holding entity with legal status in Singapore. The majority shareholder of this company is Zi Xin Pte Ltd with 1,000 shares.

On the other hand, ONC shares are 6.28 million worth IDR 6.28 trillion with the owner structure including, Lygend New Power (Hong Kong) Limited 60%, NCKL 10%, and Li Yuen 30%. After the transaction, ONC's share ownership portion changed to; Lygend New Power (Hong Kong) Limited 60%, NCKL 20%, and Li Yuen 20%. (LK/LM)
