JAKARTA – Interim dividend of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) increases 60.7% year-on-year (yoy) this year compared to 2023. This increase further boosts this state-owned bank’s stock in the board this morning (16/12).

Based on data compiled by IDNFinancials, BBRI allocates interim dividend of a maximum of IDR 20.46 trillion or IDR 135 per share, which will be distributed on January 15, 2025.

This amount is so much higher than the interim dividend of IDR 12.66 trillion or IDR 84 per share allocated in the fiscal year 2023.

As of September 2024, BBRI posted net profit attributable to the parent entity of IDR 45.06 trillion, up 2.43% yoy from IDR 43.99 trillion seen in September 2023.

Not only that, its unrestricted retained earnings also increased 4.57% to IDR 220.31 trillion in September 2024 from IDR 210.68 trillion. Its total equity also grew 4.10% yoy to IDR 329.47 trillion from IDR 316.47 trillion.

In line with this performance improvement, BBRI’s stock price also climbed 1.19% to IDR 4,220 per share at 10.30 AM WIB today (16/12) from IDR 4,170 per share seen last Friday (13/12). (LK/ZH)
