JAKARTA - PT Hotel Candi Baru purchased an additional 5.25 billion shares of PT Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO) on Tuesday, December 10. With a share portion of 59.5%, the investor's total shares in this top herbal medicine manufacturer issuer also rose to 17.85 billion. PT Mandiri Sekuritas was employed to execute the purchase.

Still in the herbal medicine sector, UOB Kay Hian Private Limited purchased 5.08 billion shares of PT Soho Global Health Tbk (SOHO) to become a new investor. Without hesitation, this foreign investor acquired almost 40% of the shares and quickly rose to the position of controlling shareholder. In the meantime, 3.54 billion SOHO shares were actually released by Tiberias 96 Pty Ltd. Its ownership proportion decreased from 37.92% to just 10%.
