Significant price changes, IDX determines UMA status for these 3 shares
JAKARTA. The Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) determined Unusual Market Activity (UMA) status for the shares of 3 issuers because their price movements were considered unusual.
Yulianto Aji Sadono, Head of the IDX Transaction Supervision Division, said that the three issuer shares included in the UMA are PT Satria Antaran Prima Tbk (SAPX), PT Sunson Textile Manufacture Tbk (SSTM), and PT Trust Finance Indonesia Tbk (TRUS). Currently, said Yulianto, the Exchange is monitoring the transaction patterns of these three shares.
According to idnfinancials.com data, the stock price of SAPX was monitored by the Exchange because the price fell by 45% in a week. Meanwhile, SSTM and TRUS share prices jumped more than 100% in the same period.
The Exchange added that monitoring the shares of the three issuers does not necessarily indicate capital market violations. Nevertheless, the Exchange urges investors to remain alert and consider the fundamentals of the relevant issuer before investing.
As of 15.47 WIB today, SAPX's share price plunged 25% to IDR 1,020 per share from the opening trading position. Meanwhile, SSTM's share price fell 13.43% to IDR 310 per share, and TERUS shares rose 15.54% to IDR 1,115 per share. (KR/LM)
