JAKARTA - After foreign investors purchased 1.68 billion shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), with a net volume of 330.10 million shares, the company's shares topped the top buy list on Thursday, December 19.

At 4.09 billion shares, these acquisitions accounted for about 40% of the overall foreign buy volume.

In the meantime, only about 3.77 billion shares were sold outside. Net foreign surplus consequently closed at 315.52 million shares.

Additionally, with a net volume of 109.44 million shares, about 196.03 million shares of PT Daya Intiguna Yasa Tbk (MDIY) were also acquired.

In addition, almost 103 million shares of PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) were purchased, and the net volume was 87.94 million shares.

The following shares, totalling about 187.13 million shares, were acquired from PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS). There were 67.71 million shares in this mineral mining company's net volume.

With a net volume of 29.55 million shares, 37.88 million shares of PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) were acquired in the oil and gas exploration industry.

However, several issuers on the top sell list were released by foreigners. PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) and PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) were the first two banks that foreigners sold shares in.

Following the sale of 235.91 million BBRI shares with a net volume of -97.82 million shares, 70.57 million BBCA shares were sold with a net volume of -36.05 million shares.

Moreover, with a net volume of -79.54 million shares, PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) shares were sold for 262.55 million shares.

Foreigners then also sold 56.16 million shares of PT J Resources Asia Pasifik Tbk (PSAB) for a net volume of -28.77 million shares.

Finally, PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) shares were sold for around 30.36 million shares with a net volume of -26.49 million shares. (KD)
