JAKARTA – The Indonesian Defense University (Unhan RI) has partnered with Wilo, a German company specializing in modern pump technology, to implement advanced pump systems in various sectors, including defense.

Ashish Patil, Wilo's Operational Manager for Southeast Asia, discussed the fundamental principles of pump systems and their applications across different sectors during a guest lecture titled “Pump Systems Working Principles and Practical Applications.” He also highlighted recent developments, including the use of digital technology to enhance energy efficiency and support environmental sustainability.

During Wilo's visit to Unhan, the company donated its modern pumps for student research purposes, particularly in exploring and developing technology relevant to strategic needs.

Anasya Arsita, a lecturer from the Faculty of Defense Science and Technology at Unhan, emphasized the importance of synergy between educational institutions and industry. This collaboration is expected to enhance students' capabilities in addressing modern technological challenges.

“This initiative is expected to provide a deeper technical understanding and open up further collaboration opportunities between Unhan RI and industry partners in the development of strategic technologies,” said Anasya in her official statement. (KR/ZH)
