BJBR injects IDR 221.40 billion to BPD Jambi
JAKARTA – PT BPD Jawa Barat dan Banten Tbk (BJBR) has injected IDR 221.40 billion in capital into BPD Jambi as part of the development of its Bank Business Group (Kelompok Usaha Bank/KUB).
Quoted on Friday (20/12), Nancy Adistyasari, BJBR’s Director of Commercial and SMEs, stated that the capital injection will have a positive impact on dividend income, an increase in fee-based income through business synergies, and inorganic asset growth for the group.
Following the capital injection, BJBR will report changes to the KUB structure to the Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan/OJK) to solidify the KUB structure and consolidate BPD Jambi’s financial statements into BJBR's reports.
Additionally, BPD Jambi's capital shares increased to 1.05 million shares (1.02 million Series A and 40,750 Series B) from 972,349 shares (931,599 Series A and 4,750 Series B).
It is noted that the shareholders of BPD Jambi approved the stock valuation and the business synergy with BJBR during an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPSLB) on May 17. (LK/ZH)
