JAKARTA - On Friday, December 20, the net foreign list began with foreign sell volume totaling 4.10 billion shares. However, the foreign buy volume was only 3.63 billion shares.

As a result, net foreign volume dropped to -474.04 million shares.

The sale of 1.78 billion shares of the digital corporation PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) contributed significantly to the high foreign sell volume. The transaction also generated the lowest net volume, with -470.06 million shares.

Foreign investors then released two banking issuers: PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBCA) and PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA). BBRI shares were sold for 183.73 million shares with a net volume of -119.75 million shares, and BBCA shares were sold for 78.30 million shares with a net volume of -29.50 million shares.

Furthermore, PT Sinergi Inti Andalan Prima Tbk (INET) shares were sold for 28.39 million shares, with a net volume of -22.09 million shares.

The following shares sold belonged to paint manufacturer PT Avia Avian Tbk (AVIA), totaling roughly 50.50 million shares with a net volume of -21.95 million shares.

Meanwhile, PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) had the greatest net volume (93.95 million shares), after the purchase of 105.41 million shares by foreign investors.

Foreigners further purchased 73.79 million shares of PT MNC Land Tbk (KPIG), for a net volume of 45.12 million shares.

In the coal mining sector, 222.55 million shares of PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) were purchased, for a net volume of 32.61 million shares.

Additionally, 29.49 million shares of PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) were purchased. This telecoms services provider then had a net volume of 27.20 million shares.

The last stock on the top buy list was PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk (MBMA), which was purchased for 26.24 million shares with a net volume of 23.49 million shares. (KD)
