JAKARTA – Foreign investor transactions on the final trading day of 2024 ended with 384.96 million shares of net sell.

Foreign investors bought 3.04 billion shares and sold 3.43 billion shares on Monday, December 30. However, in December, the net foreign volume ended the month with a net buy position of 1.26 billion shares.

With a net sell of 614.84 million shares, PT Goto Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) topped the top sell list. This was due to foreign investors sold 2.03 billion shares of the holding company that provided digital services.

With a net sell of 57.60 million and a foreign sell volume of 105.57 million shares, state-owned bank PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) came in second. Furthermore, after foreigners sold almost 82.22 million of its shares, PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI), another state bank, recorded a net sell of 22.35 million shares.

Foreign investors of PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA) sold 102.04 million shares, and this broadcasting issuer promptly reported a net sell of nearly 40 million shares. Furthermore, PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) achieved a net sale of 16.71 million shares after selling 72.26 million shares of the mining holding firm.

However, with 96.24 million shares, BUMI's subsidiary, the mineral mining firm PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS), had the largest net buy. More than 192.30 million shares of BRMS were purportedly purchased by foreigners today.

Next, a total of 114.76 million shares of PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA), a supplier of e-commerce platforms, were sold. A net purchase of 68.13 million shares was also accomplished by this issuer.

Both PT Sentul City Tbk (BKSL), a property developer in Sentul City, and PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI), an integrated energy infrastructure business, subsequently disclosed a net buy of around 56 million shares, respectively. According to reports, foreigners purchased about 60 million shares of each issuer.

Lastly, consumer financing business PT BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk (BFIN) recorded a net buy of 33.33 million shares after its 35.92 million shares were bought, closing today's net foreign transactions. (KD)
