Rebranding to AZKO, take a look at ACES’s next move
JAKARTA - PT Aspirasi Hidup Indonesia Tbk (ACES) has officially rebranded its household product retail outlets Ace Hardware to “AZKO,” announced right on January 1, 2025. This decision follows the rebranding of the company after changing its company name from Ace Hardware Indonesia back in June 2024.
This change takes place after the license for Ace Hardware, obtained since 1996, ended on December 31, 2024. Approximately 254 Ace Hardware outlets across 75 cities in Indonesia will be rebranded as AZKO.
ACES used to sign a licensing partnership with Ace Hardware International Holdings since 1996. This 15-year licensing partnership was extended for a couple of times, until it came to an end in 2024.
In the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) on June 7, 2024, the company first changed its name to PT Aspirasi Hidup Indonesia Tbk, effective June 8, 2024. The change was followed by new logo launch, representing new company identity.
The management of ACES, in the official announcement, mentioned that AZKO will go beyond home improvement solution. It will bring forth new inspiration for households in Indonesia.
Next, the company is allocating capital expenditure of IDR 200 to 250 billion for expansion across all regions in Indonesia, aimed to reinforce AZKO’s network presence and improve user shopping experience.
Based on Q3 2024 report, ACES booked net profit of IDR 574.22 billion, up 18.19% year-on-year (yoy). The company’s sales also shifted 13.57% yoy to IDR 6.11 trillion.
With AZKO, ACES gains optimism in maintaining position as the market leader of retail outlets in Indonesia, as well as introducing new shopping experience for its loyal customers. (DK/ZH)
