Two Adaro Group issuers in top five value trading
JAKARTA – Two issuers from the Adaro Group ranked among the top five in value trading throughout December 2024, competing with major national banking stocks. These two issuers outperformed PT Goto Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) and PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT), which had been in the top five of stock trading value as of December 2023.
According to data compiled by IDN Financials on Friday (3/1), PT Adaro Andalan Indonesia Tbk (AADI) recorded a trading value of Rp42.39 trillion throughout December 2024, the highest among all issuers in the capital market. The issuer posted a trading volume of 6.65 billion shares with 478,333 transactions over 16 trading days.
AADI made its debut by listing 7.78 billion shares on December 5, 2024. During its Initial Public Offering (IPO), the company offered shares at Rp5,550 per share. The stock price increased by 21.05% to close at Rp8,050 on January 2, compared to Rp6,650 per share at the close of trading on December 5.
In second place, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) recorded a trading value of Rp21.67 trillion with a volume of 5.13 billion shares in 980,433 transactions.
PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) took third place, and PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) ranked fourth, with respective trading values of Rp17.06 trillion and Rp12.72 trillion. BBCA posted a trading volume of 1.70 billion shares in 407,474 transactions, while BMRI recorded a volume of 2.12 billion shares in 348,828 transactions.
Meanwhile, PT Alamtri Resources Indonesia Tbk (ADRO) posted a total stock trading value of Rp8.59 trillion, placing it fifth among the top five in value trading. The company traded 3.47 billion shares with a transaction frequency of 589,104 times over 19 trading days. (LK/ZH)
