JAKARTA – On Monday, December 30, PT Indotambang Perkasa sold 2.27 billion shares of PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI), making it the highlight of the list of stock transactions by investors holding 5% or more shares.

After selling the shares through PT Danatama Makmur Sekuritas, this investor's stake instantly dropped from almost 23% to 19.39%.

In the meantime, CGS International Securities Singapore Pte Ltd, a foreign investor, increased its ownership of BIPI to 17% by adding 32 million shares from its portfolio. The BIPI shares are involved in energy infrastructure.

Investors in the real estate firm PT Metropolitan Land Tbk (MTLA) also bought and sold shares. Magnus Jaya sold 14.28 million shares of MTLA, while PT Yulie Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk (YULE) increased its holding by 106.33 million shares. Magnus currently owns 5.3% of the shares, while Yulie Sekuritas presently owns 7.22%.

The controller of PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA), PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk, subsequently invested 105.41 million shares in this media and entertainment company, bringing the total number of shares to 61.84%.

Then, it was noted that PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (INTP), a cement manufacturer, bought back 1.26 million of its own shares, making up 8.98% of the total shares held.

Last but not least, Ram Jethmal Punjabi strengthened his position at 70.34% by purchasing 1.04 million shares of PT Tripar Multivision Plus Tbk (RAAM), a production company for movies and television shows.

In the meantime, HSBC-Fund SVS A/C Chengdong Investment Corp-Self released 10.85 million shares of coal mining holding company PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), after foreign investor CGS International Securities Singapore Pte Ltd chose to sell 21.04 million shares of gold producer PT Wilton Makmur Indonesia Tbk (SQMI).

By issuing 2.45 million shares of PT Bank Ina Perdana Tbk (BINA) through PT Net Sekuritas, PT Asuransi Jiwa Central Asia Raya then concluded this market guideline. (KD)
