Sucorinvest Mutual Fund releases 305 million City Retail Developments (NIRO) shares
JAKARTA – Sucorinvest Equity Prima Fund sold more than 305.34 million shares of PT City Retail Developments Tbk (NIRO) on Thursday, January 2. This marked the beginning of transactions by investors holding more than 5% of the company's shares on the first trading day of the new year.
Through PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, this investor relinquished the shares, and ownership instantly dropped from 6.38% to 5%. The NIRO shares themselves are involved in commercial building and real estate development.
Furthermore, PT Majukarya Mandiri Indonesia released 30.30 million shares of the renewable energy company PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA), with a slight decrease in the share portion to 5.22%.
In the financial industry, PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala sold 4.31 million shares of PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA), a company that provides financial services. Furthermore, 3.41 million shares of PT Bank Ina Perdana Tbk (BINA), a banking firm, were sold by PT Asuransi Jiwa Central Asia Raya.
With two transactions, foreign investor CGS International Securities Singapore Pte Ltd made its appearance on the market hints list. Around 13.73 million shares of PT Wilton Makmur Indonesia Tbk (SQMI), a gold producer, were sold by this investor.
Subsequently, the same investor purchased an additional 38 million shares of PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI), an energy infrastructure company. PT CGS International Sekuritas Indonesia handled both of the transactions.
Conversely, PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk invested 18 million shares in PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA), a television broadcasting firm. Its percentage of shares increased little to 61.87%.
Shares also seemed to be purchased by individual investors. First, through PT KB Valbury Sekuritas, Raden Yohanes Kristian Hardianto purchased an extra 8 million shares in PT Kota Satu Properti Tbk, a business involved in the real estate industry. Second, through PT Mandiri Sekuritas, Pandri Prabono-Moelyo purchased 200,000 shares of PT Indika Energy Tbk (INDY), an integrated energy firm.
Cement manufacturer PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (INTP), the final issuer in this market guide, purchased 773 thousand of its own shares. At this point, 9% of the shares are under control. (KD)
