JAKARTA – PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk (BBTN) has concluded the purchase of two properties owned by PT Asuransi Jiwa IFG on December 31, 2024, with a total transaction value of IDR 15.9 billion. This acquisition aims to support BTN’s office relocation and expansion.

Ramon Armando, Head of Corporate Secretary Division at BBTN, stated in a public disclosure that the property purchase was made in line with the company’s strategic needs.

The first property is located at Jl. Gajah Mada No. 112, Pekauman Subdistrict, Tegal Barat District, Tegal City, Central Java.

The property covers a land area of 1,043 m² with a building size of approximately 525 m² and was valued at IDR 10.81 billion.

The second property is situated at Jl. Jend Sudirman No. 69, Batin Tikal Subdistrict, Taman Sari District, Pangkalpinang City, Bangka Belitung Islands Province, with a transaction value of IDR 5.09 billion.

PT Asuransi Jiwa IFG is under the control of PT Bahana Pembinaan Usaha Indonesia, which is fully owned by the government. Due to the shared ownership by the government, this transaction is categorized as an affiliated transaction.

However, BBTN’s management emphasized that the transaction does not involve a conflict of interest as defined by OJK Regulation No. 42/2020 and is also not considered a material transaction according to OJK Regulation No. 17/2020. (DK/ZH)
