JAKARTA - Pemberton Asian Opportunities Fund is known to have increased its stake in PT Sarimelati Kencana Tbk (PZZA) in a transaction last week (3/1). With this transaction, Pemberton Asian's share portion is more than 5% of all PZZA shares listed on the capital market.

Based on the compiled by IDN Financials, Monday (6/1), Pemberton Asian Opportunities Fund bought 32 million shares at IDR 113 per share. If calculated, the value of the share purchase was IDR 3.61 billion. After the transaction, Pemberton Asian's stake rose 1.06% to 242 million or 8.01% from 210 million or 6.95% of PZZA's listed shares.

Prior to last week's transaction, Pemberton Asian also bought 40 million PZZA shares, bringing its total shares to 190 million from 150 million on (12/12). The transaction price was set at IDR 128 per share or a total of IDR 5.12 billion.

As of November 2024, the fast food issuer's shares were recorded at 3.02 billion with 64.79% controlling and 35.21% non-controlling ownership. The ultimate beneficiary of PZZA's shareholding is Alwin Arifin. (LK/LM)
