JAKARTA – Leo Andyanto, the ultimate beneficial owner of the shares in PT Leyand International Tbk (LAPD), has increased his stake to 7.52% following a transaction on December 30.

According to data compiled by IDN Financials on Monday (6/1), Leo Andyanto purchased 70 million shares in two tranches—65 million and 5 million shares—at prices of IDR 16 and IDR 18 per share, respectively. The total value of the investment transaction amounted to IDR 1.3 billion.

Following this transaction, Leo Andyanto's portion increased to 298.32 million shares or 7.52%, up from 228.32 million shares or 5.76% of LAPD’s total shares, which stand at 3.96 billion.

As of November 2024, the shareholder composition of LAPD included Elvi Felicia with 8.37%, Keraton Investment Ltd with 12.81%, Laymand Holdings Pte with 30.26%, PT Intiputera Bumitirta with 19.7%, Leo Andyanto with 5.8%, and the public with 23.81%.

In terms of controlling shareholders, the controlling stake accounted for 24.75%, while non-controlling shareholders held 75.25%. (LK/ZH)
