KAI completes refinancing of two bonds

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) has refinanced the principal of its 2017 Shelf Registration Bonds I and 2019 Shelf Registration Bonds II with a total value of IDR 1.49 trillion.
In an information disclosure quoted on Monday (6/1), the source of refinancing for the two bonds was the issuance of Shelf Registration Bond II Phase I 2024 worth IDR 1.5 trillion. The proceeds from the bonds are allocated 67% for the principal debt of the company's 2017 Bonds I Series B IDR 1 trillion and 33% for the principal debt of the company's 2019 Bonds II Series A IDR 492.51 billion.
The realisation was in line with the plan when the Shelf Registration Bond II Phase I 2024 was issued on November 13, 2024 with net proceeds of IDR 1.49 trillion, excluding public offering costs of IDR7.48 billion. (LK/LM)
