Eyeing extra capital, IATA to set up rights issue in March 2025
JAKARTA - PT MNC Energy Investments Tbk (IATA) will issue 20.19 billion series B shares worth IDR 50 each. In this corporate action, each shareholder is entitled to 4 new shares.
In the prospectus quoted today (7/1), this corporate action plan is said to have secured approval from Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on December 18, 2024. The rights issue itself will take place from March 6 to 19, 2025. The entire proceeds are projected to be allocated for working capital and business development.
As of now, IATA reports authorised capital of IDR 7.18 trillion, consisting of series A (valued at IDR 100 each) worth IDR 232.27 billion, series B (valued at IDR 50 each) worth IDR 6.49 trillion, and series C (valued at IDR 96 each) worth IDR 457.86 billion.
Next, the issued and paid-up capital stands at IDR 1.59 trillion, consisting of series A of 9.20%; series B, which is divided amongst to PT MNC Asia Holding Tbk of 33.43%, PT Karya Pacific Investama of 24.91%, and the public of 13.56%; and series C (public) of 18.90%. Lastly, the stock in portfolio is worth IDR 5.58 trillion.
Post-rights issue, the issued and paid-up capital of IATA will rise to IDR 2.60 trillion, consisting of series A of 5.11%; series B, which is divided amongst to PT MNC Asia Holding Tbk of 33.43%, PT Karya Pacific Investama of 24.91%, and the public of 26.03%; and series C (public) of 10.50%. Lastly, the stock in portfolio is worth IDR 4.57 trillion. (LK/ZH)
