Net foreign volume recorded at 693 million shares
JAKARTA — On Tuesday, January 7, foreign investors bought 3.72 billion shares of shares, compared to only around 3.03 billion bought.
As of today, the net foreign from January to today is a net sell of 3.14 billion shares.
With 552.02 million shares, PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) is the first of the top five stocks in the top sell row. Although they only purchased 1.5 billion shares, foreign investors released around 2.10 billion shares of this holding company for digital services.
Additionally, 105.52 million shares of PT Kota Satu Properti Tbk (SATU), a business involved in the real estate industry, were sold by foreigners. Due to no selling, this issuer registered a net sell with the same volume.
Following that, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI), a national banking institution, reported a net sell of 61.70 million shares. Meanwhile, the telecom firm PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk and the e-commerce company PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) both announced net sell of 28.9 million shares.
However, after foreigners purchased 101.39 million of its shares, energy infrastructure provider PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) topped the list of the biggest net buys with 85.12 million shares.
Due to the comparatively modest sales volume of 77.73 million BULL shares purchased by foreigners, PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL) came in second with a net buy of 70.27 million shares.
Following the claim of over 117.04 million shares by foreigners, the coal mining holding firm PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) later accomplished a net buy of about 69 million shares.
PT Rukun Raharja Tbk (RAJA) and PT Surya Pertiwi Tbk (SPTO), the final two issuers, each obtained a net buy of about 20 million shares. SPTO shares are the exclusive distributor of Japanese TOTO brand bathroom products, whereas RAJA shares are involved in an upstream-to-downstream energy corporation. (KD)
