JAKARTA – PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (GIAA) increased its ownership in PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk (GMFI) to 91.76% from 89.1% as of December 30, 2024.

According to the disclosure cited on Wednesday (8/1), GIAA purchased 9.09 billion GMFI shares at Rp46 per share, amounting to a total transaction value of IDR 418.28 billion. Following the transaction, GIAA’s total shareholding rose to 34.24 billion shares, up from 25.15 billion shares.

It is noted that GMFI carried out a rights issue of 10.20 billion shares at a price of Rp46 per share from December 30, 2024, to January 8, 2025.

As the main shareholder of GMFI, GIAA contributed non-cash capital (inbreng) in the form of assets, including hangar buildings and supporting facilities located at Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Cengkareng, Banten. The total value of the hangar and supporting facilities amounted to IDR 418.28 billion. (LK)
