JAKARTA – Starting the year, PT Sumber Energi Andalan Tbk (ITMA), through its indirect subsidiary PT Andalan Power Tekniktama (APT), established four new subsidiaries on January 7, 2025.

According to today’s disclosure (9/1), the four subsidiaries are PT Ambara Bahari Nusantara (ABN), PT Askara Energi Andalan (AEA), PT Begawan Energi Sejati (BES), and PT Paramita Bahari Andalan (PBA).

These subsidiaries are set up to handle the company's business in freight transportation via waterways, including sea, river, and lake, as well as leasing activities.

It is worth noting that ITMA partnered with its parent company, PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI), to form ABN, AEA, BES, and PBA.

The four newly-formed subsidiaries share a similar capital structure. Each entity has an authorized capital of 1,000 shares valued at IDR 1 million per share, with issued and paid-up capital of 600 shares at IDR 1 million per share.

The shareholder structure has also been standardized, with BIPI holding 10% of shares in each subsidiary, while APT controls the remaining 90%.

BIPI is known to be the controlling shareholder of ITMA with a 41.90% stake as of September 2024. Meanwhile, according to its official website, ITMA owns 99% of PT Andalan Group Power, APT’s parent company with an 80% ownership stake. (ZH)
