Raja Roti Cemerlang to begin exports to Australia
JAKARTA – PT Raja Roti Cemerlang Tbk (BRRC) has announced plans for its first export of bread crumb products to Australia.
The company’s President Director, Ari Sudarsono, confirmed that BRRC has already secured a business partner in Perth, Australia, to execute the initial export.
“We have an immediate export opportunity to Australia, specifically to Perth, where we have a partner,” Ari said during a press conference at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on Thursday (9/1).
As a bread crumb producer, BRRC anticipates positive growth potential due to increasing demand from the food and beverage industry, both domestically and internationally.
In addition to its export focus, the company is also committed to expanding its marketing efforts within Indonesia. BRRC’s products are currently distributed in 17 provinces across the country.
“This year, we plan to add three new production facilities in West Indonesia, East Indonesia, and East Java,” Ari explained.
One of the new facilities will be located in Medan, North Sumatra, with a production capacity of 250 tons per month.
BRRC is targeting revenues of Rp150 billion this year, with projected net profits of 5% of total revenue.
The company also plans to launch new products to expand its portfolio, including "bubble crumbs," which are currently trending, and will enter the fresh bread market.
“We are optimistic about the growth opportunities in both local and international markets. We continue to innovate our products to meet consumer needs,” Ari added. (DK/ZH)
