JAKARTA – PT Cashlez Worldwide Indonesia Tbk (CASH) has a new president director on board, Willy Chandry, who was appointed during Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders last Thursday (9/1).

Chandry is replacing Irianto Kusumadjaja. His new appointment is expected to be a strategic measure to boost the company’s performance to the next level.

In the information disclosure, Chandry admits that payment service industry face fierce competition and challenges. “However, with commitment, spirit, and hard work, we may gain optimism in achieving better results in the future,” he said.

It is worth noting that Chandry has quite an extensive experience in the financial industry. Prior to joining CASH, he had taken several strategic positions, starting from Department Head of Digital Banking & Ecosystem at PT Bank KB Bukopin Tbk (BBKP), VP Head of Digibank Acquisition of PT Bank DBS Indonesia, VP Head of Mortgage Sales of PT Bank Maybank Indonesia Tbk (BNII), and Director Merchant Sales & Solutions of PT Visa Worldwide Indonesia.

In addition, Chandry also took office as Chief Marketing Officer of PT Mitra Transaksi Indoneisa and VP Sales Director of PT Aksi Visitama. (KR/ZH)
