JAKARTA – PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BRIS) or BSI recorded a transaction volume of IDR 85 trillion in Government Sharia Securities (SBSN) from January to November 2024, marking a growth of 65.38%.

Anton Sukarna, Director of Sales & Distribution at BSI, in an official statement, revealed that the increase in SBSN transactions achieved by BSI was the result of strong collaboration between the company, its customers, and the Ministry of Finance.

"This achievement stems from solid cooperation with partners and consistent support from our customers, who continue to trust BSI to meet their financial needs with reliable products and services," he explained.

He further stated that the company distributed five SBSN series, namely SR020, ST012, SWR005, SR021, and ST013. According to his statement, all five SBSN series exceeded the targets set by the Ministry of Finance.

“For SR020, from the IDR 1.5 trillion target set by the Ministry of Finance, BSI was able to realize IDR 1.668 trillion or 111% of the target. Meanwhile, for ST012, from a target of IDR 500 billion, BSI achieved IDR 1.1 trillion, or 221% of the target,” he stated.

Additionally, for the SWR005 series, from a target of IDR 10 billion, BSI realized IDR 16.6 billion, achieving 167% of the target.

For SR021, from a target of IDR 1.5 trillion, the company realized IDR 1.561 trillion, 104% higher than the target.

Lastly, for the ST013 series, from a target of IDR 500 billion, BSI achieved IDR 1.3 trillion, reaching 275% of the target. (DK/ZH)
