Morning session, JCI saw climbs
JAKARTA – Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) strengthen at the early minutes of morning session today (14/1). However, the index has yet to reach 7,083.68 as seen yesterday’s morning (13/1).
Monitoring the board at 9.56 AM WIB, JCI was at 7,032.3, a slight increase from 7,017.76 at 9 AM WIB. The index seemed fluctuating, with positive tendency, starting from the opening bell until when this article was published.
Some stocks that showed positive strides include , PT Alamtri Resources Indonesia Tbk (ADRO), PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA), and PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI).
On the other hand, there have been several issuers with big market capitalisation that suppress JCI’s climb this morning, such as PT Bayan Resources Tbk (BYAN), PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA), PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN), and PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM). (LK/ZH)
