CLEO aims for double-digit growth again this year
JAKARTA - PT Sariguna Primatirta Tbk (CLEO), a bottled drinking water manufacturer, has set another double-digit growth target in 2025.
This objective is set with the confidence in the prospect of bottled water industry in Indonesia, as well as the rising awareness of healthy beverage consumption.
CLEO, known for its BPA-free products, continues to strengthen its position in the market through sustainable expansion strategies.
The company has managed to score average annual revenue growth of 20.3% since 2017, making this target deemed a realistic one. The strategy in question includes new factory, distribution network enhancement, and operational efficiency through integrated production process.
“We continue to carry out expansion in all lines of production, marketing, and distribution in order to achieve double-digit growth this year,” said Melissa Patricia, CEO of CLEO.
This year, the company plans to conclude the construction of three new factories in Pekanbaru, Pontianak, and Palu. With these extra facilities, the number of factories will reach 35 in total, making CLEO the bottled water company with the most extensive factory network in Indonesia.
This increase is projected to be supported by over 380 internal distributors and over 7,000 distribution partners.
For 2024 full-year performance, the company is optimistic about scoring positive result, as seen in Financial Report of Q3 2024. Its sales grew 31.5% year-on-year (yoy) to IDR 1.97 trillion, while its net profit surged 60.8% yoy to IDR 336.5 billion.
In addition, CLEO is known as the first bottled water manufacturer in Indonesia that receives ISO 22000:2005 food safety management certification. In 2024, CLEO also receied Ecolabel certification for its commitment towards recycled products, as well as Green Industry Certification for its first factory in Pandaan, East Java. (DK/ZH)
