JAKARTA – DBS Bank Ltd S/A Albizia ASEAN Opportunities Fund, a shareholder of PT Sarimelati Kencana Tbk (PZZA), divested 23.20 million of its shares in a transaction last week (7/1).

Andromeda Hermawan Tristanto, Corporate Secretary of PZZA, reported that following the transaction, DBS Bank Ltd’s shareholding decreased to 144.93 million from 168.14 million shares, marking a decrease in its stake from 5.56% to 4.8% of PZZA’s total issued and paid-up capital of 3.02 billion shares.

PZZA is known as the operator of the Pizza Hut franchise in Indonesia. The controlling shareholder owns 64.79%, while non-controlling shareholders hold 35.21% of the listed shares. The ultimate beneficiary of the shareholding is Alwin Arifin.

The total value of the transaction by DBS Bank Ltd, based in Singapore, was not disclosed. However, assuming the closing price of IDR 204 on the transaction date (7/1), the value would be approximately IDR 4.73 billion.

A total of 141.77 million shares were traded in 15,561 transactions, with a total transaction value of IDR 27.67 billion. (LK/ZH)
